As the year draws to a close, I invite you to support Forai’s mission — to welcome the stranger, value the gifts of newcomers, and lift up others through love and opportunity — and join with us as we seek to raise $25,000 to continue walking alongside these amazing women.

 

Here are two ways you can give the gifts of Dignity, Empowerment and Community:

1. Give a Year-End Gift

Your year-end gift of $100, $250, $500, $1,000 or more provides artisan training, staff support, workshop space, ESL tutoring, and community sewing classes. Your generosity empowers refugee women to build skills, friendships, and confidence that last a lifetime.

2. Shop with Forai

Visit Forai Jewelry, Home & Gifts at 211 S. Kirkwood Road, or shop online at Forai.org for beautiful, handcrafted pieces that give back. Every purchase provides meaningful work, helps a woman support her family, and strengthens her sense of dignity and hope.

 

Here are just a few of the ways a year-end donation of any amount says “yes” to loving and welcoming the stranger by providing: 

  • A set of English Language Learning Materials ($50)
  • A sewing machine or jewelry-making tools to use at home ($100)
  • Monthly training in English, computer literacy, and job-related skills for Admin Artisans ($250)
  • Six months of ongoing training for a Forai Artisan ($500)
  • A six-week Community Sewing Class for 6-11 women ($1000)
